GET STARTED WITH US

We want you to get off to the best possible start with us. At Be:Poised Pilates we get to know our clients; who you are, how your body moves, what you love doing, and what you find tricky. Pilates is a method; tailored to the individual but universal in its ability to help people move well. Our teachers are here to help you benefit from Pilates in the best way for you.

We recommend that new clients start with a Pilates Studio Induction, either by taking part in a small group induction workshop or by booking a couple of 1:1 sessions with us. Your induction will:

  • Introduce you to the Classical Pilates method and show you how the different elements sit together within a comprehensive system

  • Introduce you to the Pilates Reformer & Tower, and show you how to use them safely

  • Take you through some beginner exercises on the Reformer, mat and Tower; identifying key focus areas for you and/or any particular modifications that may be appropriate for your body

  • Introduce you to other elements of the Pilates studio system and explain how these may be used in 1:1 sessions or small groups to help you deepen connections within the body and progress further in your work

The studio induction is a great way to experience different elements of the Classical Pilates method, and identify which class/es might suit you best. It is mandatory for anyone wishing to attend group apparatus (Reformer or Tower) classes with us, and an optional recommendation for those wishing to start mat classes.

STUDIO INDUCTION - GROUP WORKSHOP

  • A 1.5 hour workshop delivered in a small group of upto 4 people. You will work across the Tower, mat and Reformer, helping you discover what each piece of apparatus can offer you and learn how to work safely with the apparatus.

  • Suitable for those who are generally fit and well with no major illnesses or musculoskeletal issues**. For complete beginners and those who are experienced in Pilates from another studio.

    **If you have injuries or conditions that may require significant modifications to the work we recommend 1:1 inductions - see below

  • £40 per person

    Wednesday 6.30pm - 8pm: The following 2026 dates are available:

    Saturday 11.30am - 1pm: The following 2026 dates are available: ,

STUDIO INDUCTION - PRIVATE 1:1 SESSIONS

  • Work with us on a 1:1 basis to discover the Classical Pilates method. We recommend a minimum of two 1:1 sessions with us for those wishing to join group apparatus classes. This allows us to cover the different apparatus and elements. There is no maximum, you can work with us 1:1 for as long as you need to.

  • A 1:1 induction is recommended for those who:

    • Would prefer to get started with 1:1 support

    • Have injuries or musculoskeletal conditions that may require a more tailored approach & exercise adaptations

    • Are unsure whether they want to do group or 1:1 classes in future

    • Simply prefer a 1:1 induction :)

  • Special New Client Induction Package of 2× 1:1 sessions £95

PREGNANCY AND POSTNATAL CLASSES

  • We run specialist classes for Pregnancy and Postnatal clients. Small group classes for upto 4 people. Work on the mat and the Pilates Tower; using the resistance of the springs to support your body.

    There is no induction required to join these classes as you will be guided through the use of the Mat and Tower in your small groups. You can simply book a class and come along

  • Pregnancy Pilates: Those in any trimester of pregnancy. No previous Pilates experience necessary

    Postnatal Pilates Foundations: Those who are getting back to physical activity after childbirth. No previous Pilates necessary

    Postnatal Pilates Progressions: Those who have already begun their return to physical activity after childbirth with us, or another postnatal specialist provider and are seeking a class to continue to challenge their body and with the ability to bring baby along

  • Our Pregnancy & Postnatal Class pass is £68 and enables you to attend upto 4 classes within 6 weeks of the first booking; giving you flexibility if you need to miss a week. Your pass also entitles you to access the online Pregnancy or Postnatal Client zone with additional information & resources to help inform and support you.

    Pregnancy Pilates: Tuesdays 7pm

    Postnatal Pilates Foundations: Fridays 11.10am

    Postnatal Pilates Progressions: Fridays 12.15pm
