THE APPARATUS

  • REFORMER

The Reformer is a key piece in a Pilates apparatus studio. Originally called the “Universal Reformer” the work you do on the Reformer is designed to work the body universally - challenging strength, mobility and control for the whole body.

We have 4 Reformers in our Reformer studios. We run regular small group Reformer classes, as well as using the Reformer in many of our 1:1 sessions. It is our most popular class.

  • TOWER

The Tower is a strong metal frame to which we can attach springs, straps and bars. It is a wonderful piece of apparatus that leaves you feeling amazing..and worked!

We have 4 Towers at our studios. We run regular small group Tower classes - a great introduction to the apparatus that will have you feeling strong and connected in no time!

  • WUNDA CHAIR

Small yet mighty is the best way to describe the Wunda Chair. This surprisingly versatile apparatus will help you find strength and control like never before!

We currently have 2 Wunda chairs in our studio (we hope to add more soon!) We sometimes use the Wunda Chair during our Reformer classes to help you find a specific connection feeling in your body. The Wunda chairs are also used a lot in our private 1:1 sessions.

  • THE CADILLAC

A thing of wonder, the Cadillac is a fabulous piece of apparatus. Its stability and versitility lend it really well to our private 1:1 clients, whether you need plenty of support or a deeper challenge.

    Our Cadillac is coming soon!

  • THE BARRELS

The barrels range from the impressive looking Ladder Barrel (pictured), to the smaller Spine Corrector and Baby Arc. The barrels help us support and mobilise the spine, as well as to stretch and strengthen throughout the body.

We have several Spine correctors in our studio that we will sometimes incorporate into a mat or Tower class as an extra treat, as well as our Ladder Barrel for 1:1s and baby arcs.

  • OTHER APPARATUS

In our studio we also have other apparatus such as the Baby Chair (pictured), Pedi-Pull and smaller items such as the Breathacizer and toe corrector. This gives us the versatility to work with clients on the apparatus that best suits their needs. We mostly use these apparatus in our private sessions, but also have the opportunity where needed in our Reformer classes when a client has a particular need that the apparatus will help them address or access.

GROUP REFORMER CLASSES

We run small group Reformer classes for upto 4 people in our Reformer studio.

You will work through the Classical Reformer exercises, appropriate for the level of class you are attended. New exercises will be introduced step by step to help you really understand the movement and how to get the best from it. Your teacher will guide and support you to work with your body, offering technical tips or subtle modifications that will help you master each exercise.

As these classes take place in our Apparatus Studio we may also bring in other apparatus from time to time, such as the Wunda Chairs or barrels, to help you find connections that will ultimately improve your Reformer work.

GROUP TOWER CLASSES

COMING NOVEMBER 2025!

We run small group Tower classes for up to 4 people. The Tower is a brilliant introduction to the apparatus for those new to the apparatus work, as well as a fantastic piece to challenge more advanced clients on! You will leave a Tower class with your body feeling truly worked, and amazing!

Your teacher will guide you through a carefully designed class that will help you strengthen and mobilise your body in different ways. As the Tower work is done on the Classical mat we may also bring in some elements of mat work and barrel work from time to time to bring everything together and help you feel how each piece links together.

PRIVATE SESSIONS

Work with us on a 1:1 basis, benefiting from the use of the full studio system, including apparatus you might not necessarily use in a group class. In a private 1:1 session you may work across different pieces of apparatus according to your individual needs. Work at your own pace with dedicated 1:1 support from your teacher.

Private sessions are available on a regular or ad hoc basis.

Private 1:1 sessions may take place in either our Reformer or Tower studio and tend to involve a variety of apparatus.
